How it's done
First, we check your mouth and plan the right kind of denture for you. If any teeth need to come out, we do that first. Next, we copy the exact shape of your gums and bite, and a lab makes your dentures. You try them on first so we can fix the fit and look. Then you get your finished dentures.
Caring for your dentures
Take them out and brush them every day. Soak them overnight. Brush your gums and any natural teeth too. And come in for checkups, so we can make sure they still fit well.
FAQ
Common questions about dentures
How long does it take to get dentures?
It usually takes a few visits over a few weeks, so we can get the fit and look right.
Will people be able to tell?
Today's dentures look natural. We match the teeth and gums to look like yours.
Can I eat normally?
It takes a little practice at first. Start with soft foods cut into small pieces. Implant dentures let you chew more foods.
Do dentures need to be replaced?
Your gums change shape over time, so dentures may need adjusting or replacing after some years. Regular checkups help.
Can I use my dental insurance?
Yes. Tell us your plan when you book. We check it for you before you come.
What if I don't have insurance?
No problem. Lots of our patients don't have it. We'll go over your options with you, including ways to pay over time. That way you can fix things now instead of waiting until they get worse.
